Obsidian Exceptional Eyewear Return and Exchange Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2024

Due to the highly customized nature of prescription eyewear, all orders are considered final once placed. We are unable to cancel or issue refunds after processing.

In the rare event that your item arrives with a manufacturer’s defect or an error in production, we will gladly offer a replacement within 90 days of receipt.

For non-prescription frames, sunglasses, and reading glasses, we accept returns or exchanges for store credit within 14 days, provided the item is unworn and in original condition.

All exchanges must be accompanied by original packaging and accessories (such as branded cases or cloths) to preserve the integrity of the presentation and ensure a smooth restock process when applicable.

Frames purchased as gifts can be exchanged for store credit within 14 days by the recipient, provided they meet the same condition criteria—this supports seamless gifting while preserving exclusivity.

If your prescription is updated or changed by an optometrist—either at Obsidian or externally—within 90 days of purchase, we will remake your lenses at no charge, using the same material and add-ons as originally ordered. Your clarity of vision is our priority.

Minor frame adjustments for comfort and fit are complimentary, even beyond the return window. Your satisfaction and all-day wearability matter to us.

Frames custom-ordered or imported specifically for a client are treated as final sale unless there’s a defect. This protects the rarity and intention behind curated selections.

Because our collections are curated for quality and individuality, we’re unable to restock any item that has left our care.
