At Obsidian, we believe your vision and your style should be a source of confidence, not concern. Our commitment to craftsmanship means we stand behind every piece of eyewear we dispense. This comprehensive warranty ensures that your investment remains protected against the unexpected.
Coverage Duration
Your eyewear is protected for one full year from the date of dispense. This warranty covers a complete pair of glasses (frames and lenses) against any type of physical damage.
Lens Replacement
If your lenses become scratched, cracked, or damaged within the first year:
Copay
A flat $50.00 fee is required.
What’s Included
This covers new lenses, all laboratory labor, and shipping. No hidden fees.
The Fine Print
Replacements must be made using the original prescription. Updated prescriptions cannot be used for warranty claims.
Frame Replacement
Whether it’s a broken hinge or a cracked rim, we ensure you stay in the frames you love:
Current Models
Exact replacement for 50% of the original retail price.
Discontinued Models
A credit equal to 50% of your original price toward a new frame of your choice.
Lens Bonus
If your frames are discontinued, new lenses will be crafted at no charge to fit your new frame selection.
Non-Prescription Sunglasses
Our commitment to quality isn’t limited to prescription wear. Our non-prescription sunwear collection is eligible for the same 50% frame replacement terms outlined above for one full year.
Terms & Exclusions
Physical Return Required
Damaged frames and/or lenses must be returned to Obsidian Exceptional Eyewear to redeem a claim.
Lost or Stolen Items
This policy covers physical damage only. Lost or stolen eyewear is not covered.
Warranty Period
Replacements are intended to restore your original purchase and do not “reset” or extend the one-year warranty period.
