The name itself is deeply literal, yet steeped in symbolism. At the company’s founding meeting, there were exactly seven industry veterans gathered in the room. This tight-knit group- led by co-founder Jakob Talbo- shared a collective vision to create something genuinely authentic that honored classic eyewear traditions while pushing the envelope. They chose the word “Entourage” to reflect this spirit of collaboration and mutual support, mirroring the laid-back but fiercely loyal culture of Los Angeles.

However, the number 7 represents more than just a headcount; it became the brand’s enduring motif and a nod to good fortune. The founders cleverly wove this origin story directly into the physical anatomy of their frames.
